Went here this morning with a big group of friends. The staff were phenomenal. I was very late arriving. And the staff managed to get me my food within minutes of the groups. I had the Mexican skillet and it was delicious BUT very rich. (In the best way). I had to bring half of it home it was so much food. The potatoes were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside and Fluffy inside with the rich poblano sauce. I would maybe ask for a side of chicken or steak or something AND split the meal. But no I wouldn't change the recipe. LOL. We never felt rushed by the staff. Will def be coming back.

Came to celebrate my birthday at Casa Canela! What a wonderful experience I had! Our waitress was Acela and she went far and beyond! I am so happy my best friend brought me here. No one had to tell them to come sing to me for my birthday. They over heard it was my birthday and they came and sang to me and brought me a little treat! 10/10 or if I could 100/10! The food was exceptional! I had the chilaquiles trio special and my mouth was watering! So good! My daughter said it was BOMB.COM! If you have never come, come! This place makes you feel like home! Thank you to Acela and the Casa Canela team! You guys are amazing and sure know how to make a girl feel special! BRAVO!

We came here for dinner and was surprised at how pretty it was inside. The outside sign and worn down tarps do not suggest that dinner is going to be classy at all. Our dinner was delicious. The ingredients were quality, and the service was great as well. It was definitely a nice date night. And how interesting was it to have grilled cactus! Returned during breakfast to a whole different clientele - maybe from the hotel- and feel to the place. Breakfast felt more like a Dennys sit down w better quality food. If I were the owner, I would try to decide on one "feel" for the restaurant. Felt like a whole different restaurant from morning to night.

This is a very popular eatery in Saugus. The parking lot can get very busy as it is a popular shopping center. The bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. While it can be nice to sit outside there is a busy alley behind the patio that can get loud with delivery trucks. The wait staff is very friendly. We have had many different items in the past. All of the benedicts are yummy. The waffle benedict is a nice change. Their waffles are very good. I love the Chilaquiles is one of my favorites. You can get red or green sauce and add eggs any style. The breakfast burrito is standard and the house potatoes are good as well.

Went to the location on Bouquet for the first time with a friend. I had the Chilaquiles Verdes, with two over easy eggs, it was excellent!!! I got the potato's with it as the side. I don't usually like cubed potato's since they are usually hard, so I always try and get hash browns instead. Unfortunately, they didn't have hash browns as an option, but their cubed potatoes were also excellent. They add cinnamon to their coffee, which was great as well. The service was 10/10, very nice, very attentive and the food came out quickly and it was fresh and hot. I would highly recommend Casa Canela!! Matter of fact, it was so good, that I'm taking my wife to their new location tomorrow for her to try. 10 out of 10 for sure!!!

Really like this place! The amount of mimosa flavors alone won me over! I rarely eat all my brunch, I ordered the steak and eggs and everything was as I expected. I ate my boyfriend's home fries and he enjoyed his omelet with Turkey bacon (they stuffed that bad boy with lots of turkey bacon too). It was crowded but we were seated within 10 minutes, our waiter was very attentive. Definitely our new favorite local brunch spot.
